INGREDIENTS

pounds potatoes
Salt
to taste
1
large onion, chopped
1
tablespoon dill weed
1
to 2 teaspoons freshly
ground pepper
2
tablespoons butter
1
cup sour cream or sour milk
Chives,
parsley, or dill for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Wash
the potatoes and cut them
into 1-inch cubes. Place
them in a large pot and
cover them with water; add
salt t taste.
Bring
to a boil, and simmer for 10
minutes.
Add
the onion. Simmer and
additional 15 minutes, or
until the potatoes are soft
and falling apart. Add the
remaining ingredients,
stirring well after each
addition. Bring back up to a
simmer. Serve, garnished
with chives, parsley, or
dill.
